The unusually-warm autumn we were treated to has left us and alfresco dinners are on hold as we accept Mother Nature’s gift of rain. My thoughts are turning to the holidays and I find myself noticing little treasures like this one-of-a-kind Laguiole corkscrew made from naturally shed stag’s horn.

What a beautiful lanai! Love the way you photographed it. Also really like the cork screw. I received a carving set made out of stag horn over 30 years ago and still love it. Glad to see nature's gifts like this are in style again. Carla in Santa Barbara
