  1. The flagship Flamant store is a great Sunday afternoon destination when in Brussels. Across from the Place Sablon, where antique vendors set up stalls in the shadow of a beautiful cathedral, the passageway entrance houses a flower shop. Just inside the main store are lamp and book shop areas, followed by a series of rooms offering beautiful vignettes, Flamant style, featuring their cabinetry, furniture, lighting and decor. There's also a serenely decorated restaurant off a courtyard in the center of the store. The area around the Sablon is filled with galleries and antique shops, and to top it off, the best ice cream in the city is just across the street at Wittamer.
